Los Clippers sobreviven a Belinelli y habrá séptimo partido (102-96)

Sexto partido de la serie más igualada de los playoffs y nueva sorpresa. Si San Antonio ha ganado dos de los tres partidos en Los Angeles, los de Doc Rivers no han querido ser menos y se han impuesto también dos veces en El Álamo en tres visitas. El choque estuvo marcado por el 58% en tiros libres de los Spurs y por la muñeca de Belinelli que anotó 7/11 en triples para llegar empatados hasta el final.

Clippers Spurs G6Los Clippers comenzaron igual que el game 4 cuando también se impusieron en el AT&T y tras un 9-6 a favor, Popovich pidió tiempo muerto. En la primera mitad hubo tiempo para los dos equipos, los Clippers se marchaban y San Antonio respondía.

La segunda mitad siguió por los mismo derroteros con los Clippers tratando de abrir hueco y los Spurs achicando agua como podían. Tras un triple de Chris Paul la renta fue de de siete puntos para los Clippers (85-78) pero San Antonio tiró de raza para volver a apretar el marcador. Glen Davis cayó lesionado en una defensa sobre Splitter y tuvo que abandonar el AT&T en silla de ruedas por un esguince. Su baja sería muy dura para los Clippers.

En el tramo final volvió a aparecer Marco Belinelli para apretar lo que parecía una victoria plácida de los Clippers. Dos triples del italiano dejaron el partido en sendos one possession game que los Clippers se terminaron llevando.

Blake Griffin fue el mejor del partido con 26 puntos y 12 rebots además de 6 asistencias y cuatro tapones. Redick y Paul -que anotó su primer tiro de campo en el tercer cuarto- acabarían con 19 puntos cada uno. En los Spurs, solo Diaw (17 puntos) estuvo bien para ayudar a Marco Belinelli.

Habrá séptimo partido y ahora sí o sí, el Staples Center de Los Angeles dictará sentencia.
