La acumulación de faltas flagrantes durante estos playoffs le acarrea un partido de suspensión a Superman y como los Rockets no competirán más este año, Dwight Howard cumplirá la sanción el año que viene.
En concreto han sido cuatro las acciones punibles que han sido pitadas como flagrantes con el pívot de los Rockets de por medio y la NBA ha informado que se perderá la Opening Night de la temporada 2015-16. Howard fue sancionado con dos flagrantes en los dos últimos partidos tras sendos golpes a Andrew Bogut en el cuarto y a Andre Iguodala en el quinto.
Éste último capítulo fue considerado por la NBA como un golpeo con el codo de manera innecesaria. A pesar de que durante el partido, la acción quedó en nada, la liga ha querido intervenir y sancionar al pívot de los Rockets con la cuarta flagrante de la postemporada.
